Yeah, I think you can just miss the one met for you and end up old, and lonely, possibly bitter and sad.
At first I thought there were someone for everyone, but how could that be when there are more women than men on earth?
Besides, events in people's life do determine their future. Call it destiny, call it collecting what you spread, but you may happen to be at the right place at the right time or do the right move or not and this will determine what your whole future might be.
I divorced a man I thought was the man for me. Then I was mad because I felt that I had missed out so much. Now, what if I had actually missed on the chance of meeting MY right man.
Again, I may go to the shops and bump into my Real Mr Right. I may decide to wait for him and never ever meet him and then....end alone. Well, not quite, I have my two children thanks God!!!

I don't believe there is someone for everyone in the definative, "he's the one" kind of way, but I certainly think it is possible to meet someone you fancy (nice face, nice bod, all that) and it's turns out that there's loads you really end up liking about them, even if they are not Mr Perfect or anything like that. If you really like being around someone, have great sex coz you really fancy them and have a laugh together, do they need to be perfect? Does perfect exist? Probably not, but I don't think it matters.
I went without a boyfriend for 5 years once because all the blokes I met were tedious twits. Then I met a really gorgeous young one at my kung fu class and have been with him for a year now. So, don't be in a hurry and don't despair, there's plenty of top quality totty out there.

OK let's think about it.
There are 6 billion or more people on this Earth and if you think that someone can't find a partner with that many people, something is wrong with your thinking.
I'm single by choice and I've passed up so many women because of my choice. Don't get me wrong, I love women and even more I love sex but I can't share my problems with someone who doesn't deserve it and the ones that do deserve it I don't want.

I think there is someone for everyone, but you need to look outside what you think is your type - i.e. if you always go for blonde short fellas try tall dark and cheeky - you never know your luck, and you know the age old saying love always comes to you when you are not looking for it - I believe people are like dogs - they can smell it when you are looking for love ! don't ever give up trying - if you close yourself off or always go for people who are unavailable literary or emotionally then you may find yourself single for a long time - just remember to have fun, and also remember that as my Mum always says you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince :)

I don't think there is just one person for you, if that was the case then pretty much no one would be married.
However i do believe there are two kinds of people in the world, the kind that settle and the kind that don't. The unfortunate thing is sometimes you don't get to decide what group your in, destiny does that for you.

I do think there is someone for everyone, whether or not everyone finds his or her someone (or the RIGHT someone for that matter) is the iffy part. Unfortunately, sadly, there are some people who stay single for their entire lives, even if they want to be in a relationship.
