Serve the chili over mac & cheese, let your sisters portion it out themselves.
Offer an assortment of toppings such as onions or green onions, red and green peppers, canned fried onions (the cheesy kind are best), shredded cheese, Goldfish crackers, and whatever else you can think of. Ask the girls for serving suggestions, and give that a try.
Make the chili a little thicker that usual, add some cheese, and use Tostito Scoops instead of spoons - messy, but fun.
Cheese curds are good too. When they warm up they get squeeky again - makes for fun eating to see who can make the loudest squeek.
Have the girls help make the chili, too. Sometimes being one of the cooks makes the meal taste better.

To make chili more fun I use cheap pre sliced cheese and cut it into fun shapes like stars or princess crowns and put it on top. If I let the kids decide what shape cheese they get they are more willing to try it plus they have fun.

My friend's mother always served it with mashed potatoes when they were small.....I tried it, and it is actually pretty good.....kinda gives you the taste of shepherd's pie.....
Also.....since I was a kid....I always put ketchup in my bowl of chili.....loved the way it kinda made it better....try that.....also.....let them use the frito's scoops as spoons....
