i have a whole process i go through when my puppy has an accident on the carpet, and its been pretty successful so far. If the pee is still wet when you realize it happened, here are the steps i take:
1. Soak up all of the pee with a paper towel until its virtually dry.
2. Pour a little bit of water over the spot, and soak it up again.
3. Spray the oxegyn activated carpet cleaning spray by Woolite on the spot. Follow the directions on the bottle. (Oxy clean also works really well).
4. Once you follow the steps on the cleaning solution, spray the area with a deoderizing spray, like febreeze, or pet odor nuetralizers.
The other thing that is really important is that you vacuum frequently. The less dirt that can get trapped in the stain, the less likely it wil reappear.
Good luck!

I,ve tried alto of things on the market, like urine gone, nature miracle, they don't work the best, but I had a guy Tell me of a secret, he uses and it worked awesome, If you go to your local grocery store, like walmart or shopko, maybe even a walgreens or osco, and buy women's douche saturate the carpet you got to get to the pad, it will help with the stain and smell, I've got a picky Siamese and use it on hes accidents, and also a 4month old puppy. The guy that told me about it used it on he's coon hound that got sprayed by a skunk. Give it a try and it is cheap. Good luck

I use to use my steam cleaner, or one of the cleaners you can get. I did get a good one from Pets at home, it was for stains on carpets, lino etc, but it was also for vomit and worked everytime for me. I cannot remember the name now, but if you visit the store you will see it. It was about £5 a bottle and lasted ages.

There are many pet stain removers that are avaiable from your local pet shop, you should try them first before resorting to any professional cleaning company, obviously will safe you quite a few pennies.
If you are housetraining a puppy, may I advise 'puppy training pads'. They are waterproof backed cotton square pads that soak up dog/cat wee, they are also usful if you have a dog with an incontance problem.

you can't really. There are loads of products in the shops, but if you find one that is as good as it says, let me know! I just limit my dogs to one carpeted room until they are potty trained, then change the carpet
