No don't take it if you don't need it. Thats the first step to becoming an addict

Why would you take a pain killer when you don't have pain? It's gone. Move on. The only reason to take a pain killer when you DON'T have pain is to get high. Uh, yeah....it's bad. If you can't stop thinking about those damn pills, you're already in trouble.

With an ankle, it would desire to wreck yet you will no longer probable make it worse in case you walk on it. So, confident, yet no longer purely soreness killers. try this, Ice it for 20 minutes (the ice will harm a touch for roughly 5 minutes, then you definately won't experience it any further), stay off it for the night, raise it larger than your heart to get optimal blood pass, and finally, in case you have an ACE wrap, gently wrap it until eventually now mattress, and sleep with it extra suitable and throughout day after today, you ought to be ok. that's going to likely be a touch painful, yet you would be ok. good success. R.I.C.E (relax, Ice, Comression, Elevation)

It depends on what pain-killers you take, how strong they are, and how many you take. If, for example, you have some Hydrocodone, I say it's OK to take some, especially if you're gonna go out and do some drinking. However, make sure that you don't take too many. Also, as far as over-the-counter pain-killers go, Aspirin is the best. I'd steer clear of Acetaminophen. Have fun..................getting hi as a mother-f*cker!

If you take to many pills you can get very dizzy and if A doctor didn't perscribe it there is a high rate of death so just watch out and take 1 or 2 . If your in a lot of pain try Chamomile tea and hot tea bags (relax ).

You can cause liver problems if you take too many pain killers, plus if it is perscription, you can become addicted and that is a whole other issue.

The safety of pain killers is not tied to whether you are in pain or not.

That said, most things are safe as long as you don't abuse them.

It's not going to kill you to take a Tylenol or something, but if the pain is gone there's no real need.
