What is important to boil an egg next to time ? It's exposure to warmth.
Theoretically, to boil 4 eggs you will need 4 times as much warmth to boil 1 egg.
Of course in practice there won't change a lot. Water has a high warmth capacity. So as long has you put enough water in the pan and wait till the water boils before putting in the eggs and keep the water boiling, all 4 eggs will be boiled together in the same 3 minutes.

Same. But be careful about altitude! At 570 metres it takes about 4 1/2 minutes to soft-boil one egg, or 50, because altitude affects the boiling point of water. Where I live a three minute egg would probably be warm, but would still have the consistency of a raw egg.

it will take the same amount of time...once the water is boiling...it is boiling all the eggs...the same as it would one individual egg...the heat disperses the same...you just want to make sure that you have enough water in the pan to support all 4 eggs...it may take longer to bring the water to a boil...but the cook time will be the same...3 minutes.

3 mins, someone said 9 mins and got 20% of the votes, guess the people who voted haven't tried to make a soft boiled egg by boiling for 9 mins!

If you put the eggs in boiling water...let it come back to the boil..and simmer for 4 minutes &15 seconds for perfect eggs..
If you put the eggs in cold water and bring to the boil..once the bubbles start to go to the middle of the water.simmer for 2 minutes & 30 seconds...perfect eggs not runny or hard..

Make a pinprick in the round end before you pop them into the saucepan, then boil for 3 minutes. This will ensure that they don't crack and you will get perfect, soft-boiled eggs to dip your soldiers into. Enjoy!!

3 mins, but add 20 secs or so, the extra eggs will cool the water slightly, and take a short while to return to boiling point.
