Disaster. There is a BIG difference between Iraq and Iran.

What will happen? The will reap the results of what they have sown, pretty much. I can't believe it will happen though. Iraq has settled that, surely.
What did America sow in Iran? The firm idea that America was an underhanded agressor.
It grew out Operation Ajax (It's not very secret now) which involved the overthrow of Muhammad Mossadeq’s short-lived, democratic government by the CIA in 1953 and the reinstallation of the Shah to the throne of Iran.
If Americans don't know about this, they should.

If the US was going in for all the right reasons, they could capture the whole middle east. However, I do not think it is the morally right reason and alot of our young men are dying as well as innocent children and others. SO it would be a major problem.
ps- your question is a bit off as the US has not exactly captured Iraq. Trust me, once the US has enough oil, they will leave and you will kill yourselves anyway.

America cannot capture Iran like Iraq and it will be a big mistake if they even tried.

If we "capture Iran as we have Iraq"....we will have twice the mess we already are in....up to our ears.

The US will face global economic sanctions in the form of oil and gas shipments being stopped from the middle east and other places like Venezuela and Russia.
