parsimusic.com is persian music but very good music, you don't have to download anything. They have most of the persian singers and all their songs, please try it

I can make some suggestions for Italian music, pop/rock::
Lucio Battisti - his music is from the 60s, 70s and 80s, but he is definitely one of the best italian artists ever!
Zucchero "Sugar" Fornaciari - he does his own variaty of bluesy music, inspired by Joe Cocker
Ligabue - an Italian rocker, great gravelly, rocky voice!
Vasco Rossi - another great Italian rocker.
Fabrizio De Andre' (one of my personale favorites) - sort of the Italian Bob Dylan or Paul Simon, if you will. Beautiful lyrics and interesting tunes and arrangements.
On a more popular front, two of the best selling artists in Italy are Laura Pausini - beautiful voice, and Eros Ramazzotti. You might already know them.

Olivia Ruiz -- La femme chocolat
Serge Gainsbourg -- every song he has ever made (and I think the person before me who recommended him meant to say "dead" not "death", because he is dead)
Noir Desir -- if you like Nirvana you will like them too
