Indeed.
And the fact that they believe in a magical candyland that they go to after death is utterly laughable.

What makes even less sense is the idea that there is one path, and one path only to God. Supposing there is God, the religion of Christianity was developed only with the last 2000 years, and the knowledge of Christianity is not even now completely distributed. People are dying every day who do not know the philosophy, teachings, tenets, doctrines, history, or scripture of Christianity. Even if it were the case that everyone knows about Jesus, it is unreasonable to suggest that upon hearing it, people could understand and immediately accept it.
No intelligent person would listen to the preachings of Christianity and conclude that it has substance relevant to the eternal condition of the soul. The philosophy is convoluted, riddled with cliches that don't have meaning to anyone outside of the religion, and are contradictory in nature. The Spiritual Master of Christianity, Jesus Christ, is rarely quoted, and His words are taken out of context when He is quoted. There is very little understanding of His actual mission. Instead of obeying His instructions, they talk of Him as if He were a symbol of their own divinity, repeatedly allowing Him to accept the consequences of their actions, while they get a free ride to heaven on the broken back of an innocent man.
Christians maintain that the bible is THE word, and the ONLY word of God. That is patently false. Where was the knowledge of God before the bible was compiled? In India, the vedic knowledge has been existing for thousands of years, and the information was written by God Himelf, in Person, not compiled by committee and consensus. If anyone reads the Vedas, you immediately notice the difference in quality and content, and more importantly, you are not required to invest in sentimental ideology.
Where do Christians get the idea that Jesus is the ONLY son of God? Not from Jesus, but from His disciples, all of whom betrayed Him, as He said they would. They stubbornly refuse to hear the words of their master, while vigorously defending their confidential status. This is why, when you ask a Christian, "How can I go to heaven", they say that you have to believe in Jesus, accept Him as your saviour, and believe that God sacrificed Him to us so that we could live forever, all of which requires them to do absolutely nothing except believe. It is also a contradiction of their own Spiritual Master's words, whom they have no faith in, preferring to trust the words of Paul, John, Mark, Peter, Luke, and others who never even met the Man.

That is why it is all based on belief and faith. No body in the Christian faith will chop your head off for not believing.I think some of the other religions will and have. The Crusades were messed up but that was Catholicism at work.I believe in free will, and you have the right to question all that you don't understand or wish to believe. We will all find the truth upon our passing into the next life.

and all those before Jesus are what... hellfire food? no no no. an omnipotent power such as a god wouldnt allow such a fate. the borneo tribes that havent seen a white man yet (lucky for them) are also doomed? no. silly brainwash and mind control attempts using fear as a tool.
naughty church, you forgot the message as you corrupted it.
readytogo: not relying on your own logic but only gods? and who told you what gods logic was? a man?, your parents?
that defeats the purpose of your statement. it is because you fail to use your own logic that the problems start. cant you see that god does not hate anything, but mankind does. hate is an emotion only the humans suffer from, and when you listen to sermons, the hate is there, the fear, the guilt. god isnt man, so stop listening to him. by blindly accepting what you are told is terminal. no one can explain god to anyone else. you either understand or not. if a person told you, you have no idea, but only interpretation, biased with the emotions and flawed mental programs of the teller.
while you focus on mankinds words, you fail to hear the truth from the source itself.

You know, I have thought about this
Just because you have accepted Jesus as your savior does not mean that this is an automatic ticket to Heaven. You will still be judged on the way you have lived your life and what you have done as far as following God's rules in life

We believe that the Bible is true. The Bible says that Jesus is the way, and the truth and the life, and no one will enter to the Father's house except through Him. John 14:6
Heb 11:6 also tells that all the people who will seek Him with pure heart will find Him.
God gave us our free will. It comes with responsibility. His offer is good for everyone, but you need to accept Him. His offer came with instructions. We need to tell Him that you accept His offer. He knows our hearts. We get saved only by the mercy and grace of God. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

Religions aren't taught to respect differences. Every religion believes they are the chosen ones and that everyone else will burn in a pit of hell fire. If such a god exists that would toss around 100 religions and bannish 99% of his "children" to hell-who wants that type of god anyway? I'd say thank you, I'm glad I'm going to so such a hellish heaven!

Jesus is the only God who ever came into this world and died for the whole world. He did not select a few people here and there, He died for all mankind. It is your choice to accept or reject. He loves all people but if you refuse His salvation then you are not His Child. I find it so funny that you don't believe and yet you are so angry that we feel this way about Jesus. What is your problem? Pretty angry over nothing, aren't you?

I think people who partake in organized religion are often of the opinion that what they are told is true and will often discount all other theories. They are the same ones who might say that the Big Bang theory is incorrect, despite more evidence to back that up...

it's a simple fact that every one has their own opinion on how to get to heaven/hell/worn food. Regardless what another says it's what you believe. We'll all find out in the end.
