I don't know how you could consider that the US in being "annexed into a part of Latin America". There are a lot more non-Latinos than Latinos here. Here are some numbers for everyone to think about.

According to the 2000 census, the US had 278 million residents. 191 million marked the "Caucasian" box, 35 million marked "Hispanic", 34 million marked black, 10.5 million marked Asian, 2 million marked Native American and 1/2 million marked Pacific Islander (the remaining marked other or mixed). Of the 191 million that marked "Caucasian", 47 million indicated that they had 1/8th (4th generation, with 1/4 being 3rd generation, 1/2 being 2nd generation and full being 1st generation) or more German ancestry. So there are more people in the US of German ancestry (47 million) than Latin American ancestry (35 million). Yet we don't worry about the US becoming "too German".

Numbers can be used to prove almost any point, and manipulated just the same. The anti's want to make it look like the Latinos are trying to take over (which is hardly the case) so they can mobilize resistance efforts. The Latinos do all this threatening to take over, which they can hardly do, considering there are still more Germans than Latinos in the US.

But anyone willing to do a little research would find out they have neither the manpower nor resources to even think of attempting such an endeavor. What is happening is both sides are playing on the fears of the common American that the Latinos are going to overrun this country. And the common American is not educated enough to realize that such an action is logistically impossible to accomplish.

No. Only in Miami. I lived there for 28 of my 30yrs and just left about 2 yrs ago because of that fact. If I wanted to live in a 3rd world country I would have moved to Nicaragua. If you are considering moving to Miami you might as well go to Central America.

No. It's a little more complex than that.
Corruption + Stupidity + Fear = Pulling together for a sense of safety.

Real equation value = Target Compacting.

Maintain integrity. Only safe ground or alternative all around.

They can try to but all it will become is Mexico Town. You know, go on down to eat a little Mex. That's all, Most Americans are racist as everone knows and will do all they can to avoid any REAL contact short of maybe a night out for entertainment. Let's go see the monkeys dance, kinda thing.
I think the fact that there are so many that conduct themselves in such libertine ways, many of whom are illegal, really PO's most Americans. I know it cooks my goose.

No. Do you think it's appropriate to insult someone with additional comments when you ask a question? (Don't forget to use your spell check option, this would help you.)
