I'm 30. I met this girl, who is 18 years old, that I want to be involve with. What should I look out for? How can I handle her? What should I do for her to keep up wit me and my maturity in things?

Look out for her liking a man who is younger and more her age. Also look out for her going to college and meeting someone there. You cannot handle a girl. 1) it is physically impossible 2) you shouldn't because you can't choose her life and decide for her. just try and have fun with her and allow her to help you because even though you are older and wiser, she may know things you do not.

I know everyone is saying, "go for someone your age, stop, you're weird" but I'm actually somewhat able to relate to you. You can not help your feelings, sometimes you fall for someone and then find out 'whoa, you're how old?!?!?' First off, DO NOT talk to her like she is a child. Maybe if you laugh at more and learn to relax and not act uptight, a little bit of an 18 year olds life could make you feel younger. Though do realize that she has to be mature if shes engaging in a relationship with a person that much older than her. If she acts immature now, take this seriously...YOU CANT CHANGE HER! I hope you figure things out and end up happy in the long run. Take it slow and things should be just find. You remember what it's like to be 18

I'm a 24 year old female, my boyfriend of 3 years is 33. I've pretty much always been interested in older guys, so I speak from experience. The maturity difference between 30 and 18 is HUGE.
Girls that age no matter what they say are not ready to settle down. I thought I did, but 18 year olds think they know everything, and now that I look back I see I had no idea what I wanted. Think back to yourself at 18, and what your life priorities were.

Well something u should look out for is her parents. Her parents might not approve of their 18y/o daughter dating a man thats alomst old enough to be her dad. A good thing about her being with you though is that you can teach her things that she may not know yet since she's probably fresh out of high school she probably doesnt know too much about the REAL world but you can probably teach her some things. But you two should probably be able to keep up with eachother just fine since women do mature faster then men she might already be up to your maturity level....but im 18 too and usually alot of 18 y/o girls like to shop shop shop.....

umm if you are 30 and she is 18 there may be alot of things that you are looking for and she is not , she is just out of high school and has prob not thought about where her life is going and of course there will be alot of maturity diffeances and lifestly differances you also have to think of what others will think, your family and hers, she is just a teenager , you cant go to bars with her for another 4 years almost. There is nothing you can do to bring her maturity up with you really, that takes time and years, youd prob be better of being friends with her and stick with someone your own age , you will prob save both of you the heart ache in the end. I am 23 and I dont find alot in common with 18 year olds and your 30......you'll have to look out for hanging out with her 17 - 18 year old freinds who will ask you to buy them alcohol , her parents assuming they live at home. if she isgoing to college her possibly moving away for that, unrealistic expexctations... alot of things do come with age. Just beaware

Well, don't talk down to her is one thing. Treat her like an adult. If you make a big deal about the age difference, then it will seem like a bigger deal than it is. Look out for a wild side. She's 18. She's considered an adult but not all grown up yet. Your maturity may seem like nothing to her. Don't underestimate a woman is all I'm going to say.

well being that you are allot older then her you need to be easy with her in the way that you have experienced everything in life and she is all new to the world... your gonna have to let her have an extension of freedom in the relationship and not try to keep her all to yourself in the way of her constantly having to be with you all the time and your gonna have to understand that she is only 18 and not mature in certain ways to where you are... lovingly teach her :) :) :)

She is a little young, you should be care full, she is so young. You probably find someone older. Not that you can not love her, but she will not stay with you...because you are to far ahead.

Good luck.
