Abe Lincoln. How heavy his heart must have been to see this country involved in a Civil War that swallowed up 13 year old soldiers on both sides. I would liked to have known what could have possibly.... if anything at all... could have been done to prevent this ?

Myself, after I die.

My soul, spirit, or whatever after I've died in the distant future.

Something like what would happen if I went into the future a year after my death there and held a sayonce to call up the departed spirit of my future self.

I think my answer to the first part is complicated enough, so I won't do the second part. After all, I myself barely know why I'd want this

Living, it would have to be Alice Cooper. He is a born again Christian, believe it or not. He's brilliant and very witty and I just think it would be very cool to sit there and talk to the man who wrote Cold Ethel about faith.
Dead, it would have to be Isaac Asimov. Can you imagine debating religion with one of the most brilliant minds in literature in the 20th century? Now that would be mind blowing!!

I would like to talk to Professor Stephen Hawking. I know, he is so far above my level of intellect, but he has always strives to be able to communicate his ideas to anyone, of any level of intellect, as shown in his writings. Mostly, he's impressive in that he continues to press on despite his physical limitations.

Maya Anjelou
because I am awe-insipred by her writings. I get the sense that if I met her in person, I would be speaking with a kindred spirit, someone who would be a catalayst to my own personal growth.

I'd like to sit down and talk with Jacques Barzun, the cultural historian, because he seems so enormously well-read and logical.

I would want to talk to the President. Mostly I would want to find out what motivates him to make the choices he is making. I'd also like to talk to him about Jesus and find out what his relationship is with the Lord.
