so does that mean that my real hair color is brownish red?

Oh the same happens to me. Most people think my hair is black but it's actually just very dark brown. Some hair strands turn a coppery colour because the sun reflects its colour on to your hair.

Lighting can change the way your hair colors undertones are illuminated. Just like a gem...or crystal that makes rainbows in the light hair is translucent and has many hidden colors that can be seen in true daylight.

As others have said, it's because of the light, but also the sun can bleach hair, I am a dark blonde, but a lot of exposure to the sun lightens it.

You hair isn't all one color. We all have allot of different tones in our hair. The natural light just illuminates the tones you can't see inside.
You could also possibly be an alien.

Because of the light!!!

And if you get your hair processed or permed than the chemicals will change your natural color to something else.
