my hair is shoulder length, and i want to get it a little past my chest. what are some ways that will help it grow besides trimming?

well my mom won't let me stop putting perms in my hair, because my hair gets to difficult to deal with when its not permed

Well I am african american and my hair comes down past the middle of my back. It's about as long as the singer Aaliyah's was, but I dont have a perm...I was going to suggest you not have a perm and keep your natural hair braided. My mom kept my hair braided when I was a child and then when I was old enough I would get it flat ironed and pressed.

well one thing stop putting perms in your hair I 'm African,Asian,and Andean so my choice if i were you get some mizani shampoo that's good to put geese in your hair every day and start combing it every single day and stop bushing it

Get some hair weave sewed in and keep doing that for about a month after you take it out get a relaxer your hair will have grown a lot
