would I be fun to date?

I don't really enjoy going out with big groups of people because everybody always makes me feel like we all have to entertain each other the whole night. I like going out on single dates because I can be me and don't have to make small talk if I don't feel like it. I enjoy going to the movies on single dates and out to eat, but when other people are involved, it always seems like people can't stand a moment of silence. It doesn't bother me, I enjoy just getting out but I don't feel like commenting on the obvious all the time. When I first go out with a group of people , I love to socialize and catch up but after that I feel like people say just random, obvious stuff to fit in. Does anybody else ever feel like that? share your story....

Sex has nothing to do with this question. This is about social interaction.

provided the silences are not too long and uncomfortable, then not saying too much is fine. And so long as what you say is genuine, sometimes witty and you respond in a positive manner to what your date says then i think you will be fun to date.

yes I feel the same way. when im in a group, people say the most random stuff and laugh at everything just to fit in. then some people judge on how they act and talk about them later. I just hang around them because I got nothing better to do but I like hanging in smaller groups instead. good luck

I can understand that. It depends on what kind of group of friends you got. I don't feel like I always have to be talking, those kind of people are annoying and they try too hard. Moments of silence don't scare me like they use to. I don't blame myself if other people are bored/boring.
