ok, now that you know its bad.

a way to STOP the behavior: blow in his face semi-hard. Not so hard that it hurts him, but hard enough to make him think about going near your mouth again.

or, do NOT let him on you above your waist for the next couple months. Every time he crawls up you, pick him up with a step, and put him back in your lap

Be careful with any pet near your face. Even the sweetest parrots can cause some serious damage to your face. Not because they are mean, but it is their nature. You are a part of their flock. A great example is a story I heard about a cokatoo warning his owner about 'danger' (quick bite - cuz that is what they do in the wild to warn other parrots of predators) and she wound up needing reconstructive surgery on her face. Kissing noises are fine - I love that, especially with how some conures (esp sun conures) can be excessively squawky - it is a good way to redirect them. Hope this made sense to you! My sun used to crawl into my shirt! FYI hurts the nipple when they nibble!!!

My sun conure does the same thing. He loves to give kisses. But you have to make them stop, human saliva is very bad for them. With mine (Vincent), I just say "no" in a very firm voice, and he usually stops. Sometime he will pout, but i know it is for his own good. There is also the option of giving her a "time out", when she does something you dont want her to do, put her in her cage and walk out of the room for a few minutes. The worst punishment for birds id not having you attention.

Good luck!!

Hi there.Push gently on the beak and give a firm "No." Put him in his cage covered for two minutes. Repeat a lot. He will learn that no kisses means more play time. Have a tweet year.

It is cute but not good, human saliva is poisonous. You can try distract her with a toy. Have you been chilli kissed? My sun loves eating chillies then tries to kiss. I just give him something else to focus on, he like shreading paper.

Do not allow her to get near your mouth, just move her and say no.

Human saliva is toxic to birds, so it is just not a matter of you not liking it, it could kill her.

Try not to reenforce it by giving her the kiss everytime. mover her away from your face.
