I have recently started strength training and weight lifting which I have been doing for two weeks now for an hour five times a week, and I have gained 10 lbs and now stand at 5''5'' and 130 lbs! Is this 10 lbs muscle weight-or something else? It is freaking me out and I need to lose it! Do you guys think it is muscle or-something else-I normally eat healthily.

Relax! Muscle tissue weighs more than fat tissue. So when you burn off the fat, your replace it with muscle and so your gaining instead of losing weight! If that's not the type of results you wanted to recieve, than just get on the cardio more and do light wieghts if your looking to lose weight. If your OK with yourself, than just continue doing what your doing. But yes, its just a way of you working out. So your doing fine.

Hope this helps :)

Muscle is four times heavier than fat. If you clothes begin to fit better on you then you are losing the light fluffy stuff called fat.

Keep working out.
