Ok, I have a 3 year old daughter and I am 25 weeks pregnant with my 2nd child. I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado and desperately need to find a booster seat for my oldest that will fit in the back along with the infant carseat. It has to be a little smaller because I will be riding in the back with them, while my DH drives.Does anyone know of any good booster seats and where I can find them ? All the ones I have seen are bigger than the one she already has. TY all.

Hi, First of all you should know that most 3 year olds are not ready for a booster. Usually, kids are not ready for a "dedicated booster" until they are around 4, unless your daughter is mature for her age. She has to be able to sit properly in the booster without squirming in the car or moving out of her belt position, since the truck's seatbelt will be protecting her, she has to stay on place.
Here is an example of a narrow booster seat, this is just one padding example but all the turbo boosters are the same just diffferent padding:

If she can't do this yet, you'll need to keep her harnessed, which is safer anyway. You don't say her weight, but if she is less than 40 pounds, you can get her a harnessed booster where she can use the 5 point harness until she is 40# and then it turns into a booster until she is 8 years and around 4'9".
This is the Platinum cargo which is one of the narrowest harnessed boosters out there, you can also get the Ultra Cargo, a little cheaper but same seat...

Also be sure if you are putting all 3 of you across the back bench and there is only a lap belt in the center, you need to put the baby there and your older child must use the lap and shoulder belt if she will be using a booster.
Check www.seatcheck.org to find a tech near you that can help you further if you need it and get your kids seats double checked that you have them in right.
Good Luck,

I have been looking too. But I dont think they make one smaller. I have looked at Toys R Us and Wal-Mart, Ive even tried online stores and those really expensive ones and nothing works. They are all too bulky. Sorry :( But I wish you good luck.

In second hand baby consignment stores. I have noticed they have several kinds. The ones in our area seem to be really nice.
Also Walmart, Target,Kmart, etc
