Of course. But the Bible shows that God does NOT consider human life to be precious. He kills OVER 2 million people, including babies, and that isn't counting fetuses or the number of men, women, children, and fetuses killed during the Flood or the Slaughter of the Firstborns, when we are not told how many people he killed.

The Bible clearly shows that God approves of abortion, and in many cases commands it:

The Bible approves of killing pregnant women: Genesis 38:24, Numbers 31:17

The Bible approves of abortion: 2 Kings 15:16

God approves of abortion: Hosea 13:15-16

People are not counted as persons until they are a month old: Numbers 3:15

The Bible contains directions on how to abort any pregnancy caused by adultery: Numbers 5:12-31

The Bible says that being aborted is better than living a bad life: Ecclesiastes 6:3-5, Matthew 26:24

The Bible says that a person becomes a living soul when he BREATHES the BREATH of life into his nostril (fetuses don't breathe): Genesis 2:7

The plans of men are often not in accord with the plan of God. However, no man can change "the big picture", God's plan for man's salvation, and His victory in the end.

Gelfling, I've seen verses taken out of context and misinterpreted before, but this is ridiculous. Everybody: Please study these verses with an open heart and you'll see what nonsense these claims are. Example: In 2 Kings 15:16, Menahem had every pregnant woman killed. It is very plain if you read on that this was NOT approved by God. Verse 18: " And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord...."

Theologians make distinctions between two types of will, Prescriptive Will and Permissive Will. The first is what he asks us to do. The second is what God allows as to do. We are accountable to both. To answer your question, it is his plan to permit people to have abortions even if they are accountable to his Perscriptive Will in doing so.

yes, and since everything that happens is either caused, or at least allowed, by god who cannot be wrong about anything, believers should praise god for abortions and murders as well as rapes and general catastrophes... because if a believer questions or is saddened by something god does then they are not trusting that god knows what he's doing. killing millions with AIDS in africa is just as easy for god to do as is healing aunt marge's broken hip and since both ultimately come from god, both are equally as miraculous and neither can be said to be good or bad, just god being god. just like the way christians look at the devastation god inflicted through the jews on the neighbouring tribes in the OT (i.e. they don't really care about the slaughtered as people and usually say they deserved it, praise god...) they should look at africa the same way and anyone who dies a tragic death. Victims of katrina were in god's hands and part of his "perfect" plan... don't feel sorry for them, thank god for them... i do mean FOR them because many of them can't... god sent them on a bullet train to hell...

this is another example of why god cannot exist. there is no way to tell what he is supposed to be like. if we attribute EVERYTHING to him, then it is equally as likely that NOTHING comes from him. And remember, i'm allowing for the duality argument, the "evil doesn't exist" etc... what i'm saying is that no matter what happens god is ultimately responsible for it and therefore everything that does happen should be considered a miracle of god.

Darn you and your questions! Making us think like that!

Does he bother to put a soul into the ones he knows will be aborted?

According to God's plan we are given a free will. We choose to do or not do what is right. God knows in advance what choices we will make. He doesn't commit these sins man commits these sins by his own choice.

God perfoms abortions everyday.

Bottom line, it is no ones business but the woman involved.

The US Supreme Court says that abortion is not murder.

There is no person being killed when a pregnancy is terminated.

It would mean to any reasonably intelligent or educated person that all evil is incorporated into Gods plan, just as the design of men in crucifying Jesus succeeded in accomplishing their own defeat and condemnation, while God used their evil designs for other purposes.
This is a fearful and wonderful idea, knowing that God can outwit any man and turns their pride and wisdom on its head, as is amply portrayed in the book of Esther as well. God knows how to reserve the wicked for the day of judgement and how to catch the crafty in their own self righteous craftiness.

The idea does not mean that God does these things, but that men are allowed to choose between good and evil , for all the babies out there who want to escape responsibility, they claim they want freedom then they claim they don't want it.
God can take life just as he can give it, life does not have its own existence it is Gods, it belongs to God ad he can take it away from ungrateful pests in the earth, and that is what the bible teaches. So you believe a woman can decide what happens to what is in her womb, not feeling any pity for the baby but God cannot? What hypocrisy and actual ignorance of yourselves. Like a mob rushing to judgement and in their excitement do not realize it is a set up for slaughter, because of their evil thoughts, words and deeds.Justly condemned.
