I believe the Catholic Church has the fullness of divinely revealed truth. But that doesn't mean that everyone else is necessarily completely wrong. There are many truths contained in all faiths, but some are closer to the fullness of truth than others. That is not to say that all faiths believe ultimately in the same thing.
Some of my best friends in high school and college were Muslim, and they are very honorable and respectable people. I must admit, I admire many Muslims (many behave more uprightly than those who consider themselves Christian), even though I don't agree with everything they believe in.
You ask why, and that is a hard question to ask in such short a space. I say, because Catholicism is entirely consistent, not just with itself, but with the rest of reality. I am profoundly touched by the fact that God came down to become a Man like me in all things except sin, to live a life of poverty and service, and die a most cruel death, all for love of me. I am humbled to consider that he offers Himself daily to me so that I can eat Him, and abide in me as I in Him. I find all things resolved in Christ. Catholicism's historic, not mythological; it has a solid philosophical and theological foundation; I believe through the heroic witness of the martyrs, and the exemplary lives and self sacrifice of the saints. I believe because it challenges me to become a better person, better in fact than I can become on my own; and not because it happens to sum up everything I consider nice and comfortable. And I believe because I realize that I am happier when I live for God first, and then for others, and only then for myself. There are so many more reasons, but a dialog is better than a pronouncement, so I'll stop here.
Ultimately, you should be the one to decide. Seek out answers; critically weigh what you hear and what you experience. Do your research and read a lot! History is your friend, don't just go by hearsay. And most importantly, don't be afraid of the truth; be completely open. If you really are open to the truth, you WILL find it. After all, whoever seeks shall find (Matt 7:7-8).
If you are interested "Orthodoxy" by G. K. Chesterton is a wonderful read, as is "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, or "Pensees" by Pascal, and "Handbook of Christian Apologetics" by Peter Kreeft. Anything else you find by these authors is also highly recommended.

let's see.....
true Christians believe in the one and only God Jehovah and a resurrected Jesus Christ, the Living God come in the flesh.
there are no organized Christian groups slaughtering people all over the world.
followers of Islam believe in allah, a false god created by Satan to decieve, and mohammed, a false prophet who is quite dead.
extremist followers of Islam are slaughtering thousands and thousands of innocent people all over the world......
over 30,000 innocent civilians in Iraq alone last year, most of them Muslims......
um.....
ah.....
er......
let me guess......
Islam is on the wrong path.

Islam is wrong because it is not an original religion and it teaches it's followers to blow themselves up so they can kill. Islam is based on killing others to get to paradise. (Some reward as they go straight down)!

both. religion is a mental crutch for the weakminded & indecisive. religion holds humanity back & segregates us into squabbling little fiefdoms thus thwarting our potential as a species.

Both religions are absurd to me, so I have to pick both as going the "wrong way".
