My girlfriend and I are taking a break. When it's just us she still acts like my girlfriend though. She said we'll eventually get back together, but I'm not sure if I can take much more of this. Would it be too much to ask to demand a decision from her?

May I suggest that you tell her that since you are on a 'break' that you are going to start dating other girls from now on. See what she says. If she gives in too quickly, you might be better off carrying out your threat. At the very least it will cause a discussion during which you can put all your points, i.e., fears, prospects for the future, etc. With such an articulate and mature young man such as you appear, the girl would be a total fool to let you go. Don't say a word. If she sees you having fun with other people she will want you more and ask you the question. By that time you might realize that life without her is actually more fun and you'll be able to play her game.

man actually drop her for awhile, its not healthy if your on a "break" and she says you guys will get back together, who the mess does that? she just wants her cake and eat it too. Get the mess out of that relationship. sorry man.

Don't demand, but do tell her how you feel. If you make a demand, she might feel that you are not respecting her needs. If you just tell her how it makes you feel, she will be more understanding.

'being on a break' is suppose to be when you give each other space and not when she yet acts like your gf. then there's no point to it.ask her straight on,evaluate your feelings too and move on
