Holy crap is in Italian (not literal translation that would be rather different....!!) is Porca miseria, santo Iddio or santo cielo.
Your translation of the second part looks rather good but not 100% correct as literally it would be 'spero che non mi succeda mai'. Yours is instead corresponding to 'I hope that will never happen to me'.
'Porco canederlo' of previous answer can be an expression in some dialect (alto adige?) while 'giuda ballerino' is not that popular.

I fully agree with martox; I'd just like to add it'll be nice to use "giuda ballerino" if you know the person you're talking to loves Italian comics, since it became popular because Dylan Dog (the most successful comic character created in Italy) use it :)

Giusto. Holy crap is very idiomatical. I would say: Santo cielo. (Holy heaven) or porco canederlo (pig knoedel) or giuda ballerino (Judas dancer).
