You'll lose water weight that way, but to lose fat & build muscle you really need to exercise.

I do believe so. There are methods that were made with that assumption. Like the rubber thing that you wrap around your stomach. and while your doing every day things the rubber is making your tummy sweat just in that area. once you take it off some hours later you'll have the rubber full of sweat and eventually a supposedly smaller then before tummy. (over time of course)

I'm no expert, but I thought that sweating helps rid of water as well as salt. The amount of salt in our blood regulates how much water is stored in our blood. So when we replenish with water, we may not hold the same amount of water before the sweat. So we may lose weight. But... It is only water weight.

yeah baby, run!

You know what. forget it. Go to a sunny island. Lay down on the beach. No only you will loose weight from sweating, your skin will be lighter since the sun will burn it.

You can loose a couple of extra onces there too!

What the hell is wrong with u people?????

only water weight. you don't want to lose ALL your water weight because obviously your body needs it to function. cut down the salt content in your diet and that should keep you from retaining any more water than your body needs. it should just be going right through you. otherwise sweating has no caloric effect similar to exercise because you're not burning fat.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
