I have been dating my girlfriend long distance for a year and a half tomorrow. I have a tendancy to get worried when my baby is upset. It hurts me more than anything else could, especially if I am the cause of it. I call her when I know something is wrong so we can talk it out, don't do it over the computer, over the computer you can't hear the tones of the voice and the way she says things. Then when you talk over the phone it doesn't get misunderstood. You may be saying something sweet, but she takes it the wrong way. I suggest talking to her on the phone and help her through it.

D-Girl, the girl I was with and I had a long distance relationship. I called her every day for 4 months and the calls would last 4-12 hours a night! It grew so much that every story she told me about her day, I felt her joy, her pain, her emotion. You dont have to see the person to feel the way they feel or worse. There are moments I would trade my life for her happiness, still as a matter of fact. Well, I feel it anyway, so maybe most guys do.

Well first tell her that you are sorry, comfort her the best you can. Try to suggest ways of feeling better, tell her to get a checkup unless it is her period time, then just keep your feeling to yourself as no matter what you say it will be taken the wrong way. Just tell her that you miss her, and love her, that she is the most beautiful girl in your life. If you are in a long distance relationship that is all you can do. good luck

Take a picture of you holding some flowers and send her a card with the picture inside. The card say something about how you wish you could give these to her personally and any other mushy crap you can think of. That'll cheer her up right quick. And if it doesn't, then you have the same problem I have lol.

If she is feeling bad because her guy is away--no problem. If she's feeling bad and like crap that's not at all a good sign and I'd re-examine my commitment and make a decision only after we were back together for a good long time. (This is the voice of experience speaking to you.)

Well I'd probably call her everyday to check up on her and make sure if shes alright. If shes really not feeling well, i'd drive all the way there to take care of her.

If It was someone i loved, i would try to comfort her. If a guy loves a girl, he should feel sad when she is, and try to make her feel better. If he just ignores her, he doesnt truly love her

Remember that men are from mars and we are the fix it kind. I can only ask if there is anything that I can do, listen, and let her know that everything is going to be alright.

Send her flowers, or something else that lets her know (physically, not just over the phone....) that you are thinking about her and wishing you were there to help.
