It's Ancient Latin.

on the sound of noceeo stress on the first 'o'

Not sure of this one. 'I hurt/damage you" looks like it ought to be:
'Noceo vobis'. The infinitive is nocere, and first person would be 'noceo' . Also, that verb takes the dative, which is 'vobis".
Did find a reference to no + cire, where first person would be nocio, and that takes the accusative, so 'nocio vos' would be 'I don't excite/arouse you.'
