To each his own. We need to decide for ourselves. Don't listen to others who tell you things like that. We have to learn and grow for ourselves, and no matter what you believe, you aren't evil.. well most people aren't. I could name a few that are, but that is my own personal opinion, so it doesn't matter. Only what you think matters. You can believe in God, not believe, it's your choice. Just don't get upset if you hear people saying things to you that you don't believe. You'll get that no matter what you believe. Sorry, but truth is truth. Good luck on your own journey through life!

For the best example of whether God is true or not, I give you the Human Brain.
Studies, like that done by the University of Michigan, and features in the Discovery Channel program, The Amazing Life of the Human Brain, shows just how amazing the human brain is.
Every second while awake, we are absorbing 40MBs of data per second. That’s 144 gigabytes per hour and about 2 terabytes per day. That’s a lot of data even for the largest computer. When we sleep at night, and only at night or under nighttime conditions, all that data is sorted and stored through the creation of synaptic connectors and biochemical bounds. The brain has enough volume to allow for the creation of these storage connectors to last over 10,000 years.
Without the need of a creator, what evolutionary pressure could cause the need for this much volume that would take that long to fill? Clearly, man was either created by God to live that long, or if evolve, once lived that long, and has since de-evolved to what we are today. Which do you think it is?
Evolution does take place, in that animals have evolved and humans have de-evolved since the time of the creation. Many divergent species are related, such as the Meerkat/Hyena and the Lion/House cat. A house cat can breed with a lion, I wonder if the same is possible the Hyena and Meerkat?
This is why I believe in God. I use the brain he gave me, and designed for me, to determine something beyond imagining.

I believe that God does not care if you believe or not. There are many paths to God. Since there is no proof, it is a personal decision that each person must decide for themselves.

We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.
The most basic proof of God’s existence is simply what He has made. “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that [unbelievers] are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). “The heavens declare the glory of God / And the firmament sheweth His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).
God Bless You

Many Christians honestly believe that, since it's good for them, it just has to be good for all of us. They read certain lines and decide that they are bound to follow them.
Everything else follows from there.
They are so convinced that their actions are selfless than they are blinded to the true selfishness of them.

A personal opinion disguised as a question ... talk about steroetyping God believers in your judgemental spew. Personally I could care less if you believe in God or not but you're hypocritical in your rant.

God is real. God created us. God gave us the power of choice.
God allows us to choose him or reject him. He desires that we choose him because following him leads to eternal life. Not following him means that you choose not to live eternally with him.
It is your choice. God's followers wish everyone to enjoy eternal life and to have a relationship with God. Just like Noah who tried to save people from drowning prior to the floor, Christians are supposed to spread the message of the good news of the offer of eternal life to everyone who wants to receive it.
