God exist in a place called heaven. The devil exist in a place called hell. First thing you have is a place.

Now how big is God and the devil. They must have a certain size to fit in a place.

Hell has to be here on earth because that is where the devil was cast to after the war in Rev 12:9.

Your question should be why did God create a devil.

Maybe hell is portrayed differently than how God sees it, maybe hell is not the fiery and scary evil place but does it actually mean being distant from God spiritually?

I think the first Christians used hell as a scare tactic to get more listeners and believers to act in a heavenly way...because hell didn't exist in the Jewish belief system and the first Christians were a Jewish sect. that became best friends with the Roman emperor who had strong pagan beliefs...

I dunno...

Because he likes torturing and killing people, by drowning, hardening hearts, sending plagues, slaughtering babies, smiting people for conducting a census, a man for steadying an ark, children for calling a man bald, etc. God kills well OVER 2.2 million people in Bible stories, NOT including instances like the Flood and slaughter of firstborns, where we aren't told how many men, women, children, and fetuses he killed. He also COMMANDS his followers to hurt and kill milions more. Obviously, human life is NOT precious to God.

Any omnipotent being who would create a place of eternal torture for his own alleged children (when he had the ability to do ANYTHING else) is EVIL.

I'm Christian too but I'm not very religious. I was raised with this religion but I'm just not religious. To answer your question, first of all there is no hell. When you die, you simply die. It's not like your soul either goes to Heaven or hell. You also don't have a soul. A soul is a living person not an immortal entity inside of the body. Death is simply a state of non-existence. When you die you cease to exist. By this, I don't mean that your body disappears or something. Your brain contains all of your memories. Memories of your life, the events in your life, the people in your life, and yourself. When you die your body dies including your brain. Therefore, you cease to exist. There is no going to Heaven or Hell when you die. You just die.

You don't have to believe this if you don't want to. I'm simply answering your question. I am Christian but like I said, I'm not very religious. I know that God exists and so does Satan, but I have little faith. So, if you want to believe this you can. If you don't, you don't have to.

Not all Christins hold the view that hell is a place where people burn forever. See Annihilationism:

God didn't create hell. Some religions did. Fear tactic most likely. Believe or burn in eternal hell.

Eternal sin requires eternal punihsment.

You have people here on earth that God could lay out in Heaven, describe and show how good he is, give them their hearts desires, and they will still spit in his face and disboey him. Hell is reserved for those unfortunate souls that delight in rebelling against God. You can have ultimate justice unless there is ultimate punishment. god shows his love for us by giving us a way to be forgiven!

God is love, He is also just, and must reward us all accordingly if He will be both. As a Christian you have chosen to fall under His love not His judgment. That is essentially what we are saved from.

He created hell for Satan and for demons. He never intended for a person to be there. The good news is that NO ONE needs to go there. It is a very personal decision.

The reason is that people are the s**ts and a proper and fitting method had to be devised to give them a well deserved pay back for the evil that they have done. That's why. And it works thank you.
