Boyfriend likes Civ' IV, but when tries to launch a nuclear bomb, nohing happens. Anyidea what he is doing wrong?

It may be that the UN resolution against nuclear proliferation has passed, if the UN section is active make sure that this is never passed or you can no longer build or fire the nuke. Take care when you fire it as well, as every other civ turns against you, the pollution will affect you, the war will be very long, and sea levels rise often destroying your own coastal cities. your nuke can travel up to 10 sqaures, I think so make sure you are close enough to attack - with the Wralords patch you can fire from anywhere

I don't know yet.....I have Civ 3...is civ 4 that much cooler that I sould go out and buy it to play some? email me here with any opinions... is it easier or harder to play?

Probably the city he wants to destroy is too far away. Also it could be that the civilization he wants to attack has defenses against the nukes.

May want to check the operating system, it may be conflicting with the game.
