Don't take anymore medicine. Lie down with a cool cloth on your head and cover your eyes. If the pain lasts more than one hour get help from an adult.

First if you took both a midol and Tylenol you need to wait a little for those to work. That is a lot of medication at the age 12.

Next, if you are 12 and you are that sick you need to tell your parents. If you are alone you need to call them.

It is possible that while you are experiencing your period you might also have a flu or something. But you need to tell them, so they can figure out whats wrong and/or immediately take you to a doctor or clinic to see a doctor.

As an end note: I just want to let you know when you first start your cycle as a woman the pain is the worst pain you have ever felt in your life. It really is bad. But let me assure you that it will not always be this intense. Right now you are in a transition.

Ok now you have read this and probably five other posts - GO TELL YOUR PARENTS and get some help.

Blessed be....

I have found that wet heat (such as a shower pouring on my head) helps a lot. If you have a heating pad, that also works a little but not as well as WET heat. Sometimes the heat gets to be too much, and I switch to an ice pack.

If those don't work, I either try to sleep it off (which doesn't always work, either), or have someone massage different parts of my head. Go to this website:

NOTE:

Also... be careful on which medications you take together... certain medications taken together can have really bad side effects. Also be careful not to take medicine all the time - this will make your body used to medicine, making it become less and less effective. It is also dangerous to overdose...

for temporary relief-soak in the bath tub with epsom salts & 4-6 hours after the tylenol take some ibuprophen (advil)-it reduces swelling & that's why you get cramps, use a heating pad. (don't take tylenol & advil at the same time) if you're felling weak, you might be anemic (lots of girls are) & you need to go to the doctor to figure it out. a lot of girls get migraines during PMS & there's a lot of different drugs to help those too. a little bit of caffiene might help the headache-try drinking a soda. you might need to start going to an ob/gyn doctor instead of your pediatrician now to get the best care. good luck-i've been there & know how miserable it is!

First of all tell your mom and do not take any more medication. Second of all try drinking a coke. The caffeine sometimes helps. Try just laying in a dark room with some very very quiet music on. You can also try a heating pad on your tummy for the cramps. Lay low and distress. But please please let your mom and dad know you hare having problems. It might not be PMS it might be the onset of a flu. Also drink lots of water or juice to keep hydrated just in case, Good luck feel better.

Oh, poor little thing. Get mum to put a cup of vinegar in a bowl. Then get a piece of brown paper. Fold it lengthways (like a headband) and soak in vinegar. Pat out excess moisture and lay it flat across your forehead. Lie down with your eyes closed for about 30 minutes..... This should cure even the nastiest headache.

PEACE

Call your Dr. because it may be a migraine and you my need something else to take care of it. Be careful not to take too many pills out of desperation for the pain your in.

Calm down, sweetie! You will be ok. I hope you have someone there with you that you can tell about this. Take a washcloth, run it under cold water and put it on your head. Lie down for a few minutes. but DO TELL a grown up how you are feeling, please!

Unfortunately; headaches, cramps, & body aches are NORMAL for us young women while on our menstral cycle. However, thankfully now; doctors DO RECOGNIZE that PMS has LIGITIMATE health concerns that come along with it!!

However, I would AVOID any unnessasary medications!! If you are absolutely MISERABLE, go see your doctor.
