not sure. but when i lived in russia, the cats stayed on the roofs of apartment buildings that were nine floors high! beleive it or not, there have been a lot of stories involving cats falling and surviving because of the pads on their paws. i'm not completely sure that it's true. i'm just telling you what i heard. :)

Does that mean you will be back on here in thirty minutes to report that she has jumped from the roof and you think she may have broken her leg?
It is certainly not OK for her to be on the roof. If she doesn't jump she will be stuck up there and if she does she can get hurt. If she had gotten up there by herself she might be able to get down.

She might jump if she sees something that she wants. If you really love your cat, let her out in the yard, the roof is not a safe place for her and she could get seriously hurt.

Hi there...ideally, it may not be safe for a cat to be on the roof. Many cats fall and suffer from a condition call high-rise syndrome and if you can discourage your cat from going onto the rooftop this would be the best and safest for her.

Absolutely not.
Had a kitty once that fell off my third floor balcony. Thankfully, he was okay (landed in some shrubery). But that was just luck. Never again.
Cats can get frightened, or lose their balance, contrary to old beliefs, they do not always land on their feet.
Falling off of a roof would hurt you, or your kitty.

Well, I've seen cats climb on fences. I think that it depends how high it is. Plus how dangerous it is. Good luck!
