What's the difference between hookah and marijuana?

What's hookah? And do you smoke it differently?

You dont SMOKE hookah, you smoke out of one. It's a pipe used to smoke tobaccos in middle eastern countries, and by some folks, for whatever ungodly reason, in overpriced bars here!!!

Hookah is a water pipe usually used for smoking flavored tobacco. Some flavors include: double apple, lemon, lemon with mint, watermelon, watermelon with mint, grape, etc. A smoking session usually lasts 30-45 minutes. Smoking flavored tobacco does not get you high. If you smoke too much, too quickly temporary dizziness might occur. I own 4 hookahs and I smoke once every week. The dizziness of 2 minutes occurred when I first started because my body was not used to the tobacco. Even now, if I smoke too much I will get dizzy for a minute or two. Unfortunately, some people use a hookah to smoke illegal substances such as Marijuana. Hookah is just a water pipe, therefore it is NOT illegal. What is being smoked will decide if you are doing something illegal or not. Like all tobacco, smoking flavored tobacco is harmful to your body. Check the link for more information on the harmful effects of using a hookah to smoke flavored tobacco. All in all, if you are interested in smoking hookah try to only smoke it socially because doing it even once a day is very very bad.

A hookah is a type of smoking device. Some cities even have hookah bars where you go and smoke tobacco. I know that San Diego does at least. They usually have anywhere from 4-8 hoses coming off them so several people can smoke out of it at the same time. In Alice in Wonderland, the caterpillar is actually smoking a hookah. Simply put, marijuana will get you high and hookah(flavored tobacco pretty much) will not.
Most commonly marijuana(and to answer your question it IS also called weed and pot) will be smoked by means of a blunt(sort of like a cigarette) or a bowl [but people can smoke it from bubblers and other things but we wont get into that now]
and hookah(which actually thats the device not the substance) is smoked from a hookah which is this contraption with one or multiple hoses attached to it from which you breathe in the tobacco.
marijuana is smoked to get the high effect and hookah is a more casual, chill thing to do

A hookah is a device for smoking like a pipe. Marijuana is a plant which is smoked. If you had to ask you shouldn't be messing with that stuff anyway. Nobody should because it makes you Stoo-pid and lazy. Kind of like video games. Do yourself a favor and leave all those things alone.
