my grandma had a ct brain done b/c her having ha's the radiologost suspects frontal atrophy. what is that

Frontal atrophy means atrophy of the frontal lobe of your granny's brain. Atrophy in simple terms means shrinking. Kinda like a person who is paralyzed. Their previously well formed muscle start to shrink or atrophy because it is not used. More or less this is similar with what the radiologist is describing regarding your granny's brain. This is very common during the aging process or is part of aging. Don't think you have to worry about it.
