I am just wondering, if most Muslims are against the actions of extremist fundamentalists, why are they not out marching and holding demonstrations to make it clear that they don't condone suicide bombers and terrorists.
Many Muslims point out that these fundamentalists are perverting the truth of Islam, and say that they disgrace the teachings of Islam. So why are the tolerated?
I have heard explanations that Muslims will not hand fundamentalists over to Western law enforcement, because this goes against Shar'iah law, but why haven't Muslims exacted the law of Islam on these Extremists.
Why aren't Muslims marching and demonstrating?

This is not meant as an insult to Muslims. It is a question, asked to broaden my understanding of the moderate Muslim community. If it's construed as an insult I would have to ask why?

Why is everybody so defensive here. I am not attacking Muslims. Neo Nazis attack minorities, a reaction from the white community is demonstration, white people joining Antifa etc. I am not saying Muslims condone terrorism, I am merely asking why moderates aren't more vocal in condemnation.

I know it won't do any good to answer you because you won't listen, but here's the link anyway. I know on your part you'll only see "blah blah blah" and won't bother, but hey, God knows I did the right thing.

Did the Council on American-Islamic Relations ever organize a march against terrorism? Never. In fact, as I documented in "Moderate Muslims March in Phoenix," when a march against terrorism took place in Phoenix, Arizona, CAIR stayed away and then responded with its own rally of "Muslim Americans for Human Rights and Dignity" (note its conspicuous non-condemnation of terror).
There's now a second anti-terror rally, this time in Washington, D.C. Called by Kamal Nawash and the Free Muslims Against Terrorism (né the Free Muslim Coalition Against Terrorism), it will take place on May 14, 2005, on the Freedom Plaza at Pennsylvania Ave. between 13th and 14th Street, NW.

First of all march is not not guarentee or prove for something...
Give you recent example, Remember millions of people in world did protest against Bush and Blair's Attach on Iraq but who cares?
The POP made terrible mistake about Islam, the Cartoon Conspiracy, how many Muslims did march... and did protest.. what happened? Israel Brutal attacks on Lebanon , and whole world protested but what happened?
Islam is the name of peace, moderation and Unity among each other. For the forces against Islam, all Muslim extremest or not are equally hatred.
In such a world of inequality and injustice, what message Muslim community will achieve that THEY ARE NOT UNITED?
and also needs to be listen what these extremest says? and who is terrorist and extremest in real sense?
USA? ....... from occupying red Indians land 400 years ago to Vietnam's war, Japan's Atomic Attack to carpet bombing at IRAQ< AFGHANISTAN SOMALIA AND Sudan, America's Extremism is proved and well seen
ISRAEL? The biggest terrorist at earth, Since 1948, from capturing land of Palestine's people what haven they done? I think everyone well aware..
India? From Babri Mosque Burning day to Golden Temple Blasphemy, From Gujrat Muslim Killings to Kashmir Army attacks what they are doing? If you want to quit the extremest, kill the reason first.. Before the thief, cathc the mother of the thief.!!!!

Maybe because we want to live normal and productive lives. I'd much rather spend my free time on Yahoo Answers or studying for my psychology and my algebra exam I have coming up than be out protesting something. You can beleive in something, but you don't have to make protest to prove it or to make other beleive what you do.

if most Muslims are against the actions of extremist fundamentalists.
fundamentalists: One who follows the fundamental of a certain subject.
Being a fundamental is not bad.
In order for a mathmatictian to be good at math, he must follow the fundamentals of math. This makes him a fundamentalist in math.
In order for a muslim to be a good muslim, he must follow the fundamentals of islam.
You can call them extremists, but they are not fundamentalists.

Its obvious isnt it?
They agree with them to a very large extent.
You cant take the vile xenophobic, violent savage nature out of Islam - its built in to it.
Take all the unpleasantness out of Islam and there's not enough left to have a religion of.

They don't disagree with them to nearly the extent they would have you believe. All they do is come on places like this and tell you that you are wrong for noticing.

Because the q'uran agrees with the terrorists. And muslims quietly agree with them too. What you hear from the muslims about how peaceful is islam are a pack of lies. Those who propagate this are equally liars.
