When I was baptized, so like my whole life.
Not then, obviously as I was only a few months old..But now that I have become very ardent about my faith, YES, absolutely... Leading out a life of faith is not easy, it's a "roller-coaster" of a ride, but it's the most fulfilling life anyone could ever live out. God bless.

About 10 years ago. Yes my life has changed, I am a much more kind and likeable person, I think. But I didn't change overnight. It took me 9 years to get off of all drugs. Some people report being miraculously freed from addictions, but it did not happen that way for me. I think God wanted me to do it for myself, I needed to learn how to deal with life a little at a time before I was able to be free from the drugs. But, it has been worth the effort. I am more empathetic and less judgemental of others. I still have to work every day at being a better person, but that, too, is worth the effort. I am so much happier than I used to be. My advice would be: don't settle for the first church you walk into, or the church someone else tells you to go to. Keep going to different ones until you find one where you feel at home, and whose teachings speak peace to your heart. Don't be afraid! There is no wrong place to look for God. Stay on the path you are on, and don't let it discourage you if things don't miraculously change overnight. Just pray, read the Bible, and spend some quiet time listening for the small still voice of the Holt Spirit every day. Good luck to you, I'll say a prayer for you.

I became a Christian when I was suicidal. I had nothing to lose, I felt, and decided to trust God. It was Christianity because I was being told things about it. though my original context of 'giving myself to the God's' came from a book series called " The Crystal Caves" . There was a Christian barber that helped to define what God was, and who Jesus was. I still wasn't sure, but I decided that if nothing worked, I would die by my own hand. So I did what is called the "Sinner's Prayer" and I had an expereince that what undeniably uncommon. I knew nothing of 'tongues', and yet that's what I expereinced. I wasn't in a place with other people around, I was alone in a bedroom without the lights on.
So I have proof that God and Jesus is real, I just can't prove it. lol
The proof is personal, and the nature of God's spirit powerful and conveying love and peace all at once. There are so many other details that I could go into about that night, but I would rather not talk about them.
The change of my life has been a rocky thing. But I can tell you this: That there is NOTHING better than giving yourself to God through Jesus Christ. After what I have been through, doubting him is not good or reasonable. He made sure that I knew that. That makes me feel so greatful to him. So very greatful.

I did not 'become' a Christian. When I was born, I was baptised and became a follower of God. I still go out with friends, have a few drinks etc. But that doesn't mean I am no longer a Christian. I would not treat anyone badly, and I would certainly not promote violence. There are different interpretations when it comes to Christianity... some believe that Sex before Marriage is a sin, whereas others believe that if it's what your heart is telling you to do, then do it.

I always felt I was a Christian but just last year I started to actually make an effort to follow what the bible says, not just to read the bible. I noticed that my actions were no different than someone who doesn't believe in God and I wanted to live a lifestyle where someone could tell that I was a Christian by my actions. I did not notice a big change in my life though.

I have been a christian since the age of twelve.
Like so many others though I was a Christian in name only.
Since becoming a licensed and ordained minister I have served God the best I can, making mistakes and foolish decisions along the way.
My life changed as serving God caused a peace and understanding to fill my life to the point where I often say;
If I were any more blessed I'd have to be twins.

i became a christian when i was 5 years old. back then, i didnt notice much of a change because i was so young. but now that im a bit older, i see that my life is different from other people's in that i kno for sure where i will go when i die, and that i can ask God for help anytime and anywhere, no matter what the circumstance. many people dont understand christians because they think our life is harder than usual. i wouldnt say its harder or easier than usual, but God promises to reward those who are faithful to Him to the end. im not sure if you know, but to become a christian, Jesus says that you must be "born again". we are all sinners and we must pay for our sins sooner or later, and we have 2 choices: we can accept the fact that approximately 2,000 years ago, God sent His Son, Jesus, to suffer and die for our sins while being crucified on a cross, or we can pay for our own sins in hell, which the Bible describes as a place of everlasting torment. i myself am very skeptical about almost everything i hear, but God's word is so believeable. Roman historians actually documented the fact that Jesus did exist and that He was crucified. He later rose again after being dead for 3 days. Jesus wants you to accept Him into your heart and life, and if you only believe and trust in Him, then He will change your life for the better. as i said before, He will then reward you in heaven when you die. we all have a choice to make, and every single person on earth must choose between an eternity in heaven, or one in hell. and no matter what you have done, no matter what sins you have committed, Jesus is always waiting with open arms to accept you. He loves you.

I was 14 when I was saved and it is my belief that Jesus walks with me every day. When life is tough and my body gives up, my heart stays strong because He lives in me.
I stand and lift up my hands. For the joy of the Lord is my strength. I bow down and worship Him now, how great, how awesome is He.
When I was 14 I had to go to hospital for a spinal operation. I was scared because at that time I had bad Asthma and was worried about having to be under the knife for such a long time. I asked God to show me if He was real. I then forgot all about this comment that I had flung at Him in temper.
However, coming round from the operation, I could feel an amazing peace and calmness, so unlike the pain and confusion following the many other ops. I was sheilded from pain. THAT is God at work.
I love God because He first loved me.
Fast forward 3 years....
I was 17 then. I had not been to Church for a while because 'life happens'. I heard from a Brother that there was going to be a healing meeting going on at Chelmsford Community Church and I felt God for the first time in a long while, clearly say Go! I will show you what your heart desires.
Well, I can't tell you how amazing the atmosphere was in that room. The Spirit was there, you could feel it.
I had had back pain for 6 months, due to nerve damage. That night He laid me down to sleep and did His healing work on me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made and Jesus healed that pain right there and then. I have been pain free since.
Praise God Almighty.

That's a very long story. I can't fit everything here, but here's a little bit. I actually don't remember when I first became a Christain. It was in my early childhood. But to answer your question, it's been a life long process full of change. There were times I was close to God and times I was away. I have countless testimonies of all God has done and is doing. God does change people, and sometimes it is drastic and immediate, but sometimes it's over a long process. In any case, Christianity and knowing Christ is a lifestyle, not a single event.

That question is better answered to understand how religion has changed my life.
I am 47 years ld and I am now just realizing what God wants me to do. My calling has always been here since it can be remembered, but I chose my way of life and though, it was not a pretty one, it almost killed me and it would of been my fault, my choices.
God has road for me to take and my life is growing huge in Christ, but not in a sense that I go out as a Holy roller or preaching the word of God because people do not listen all the time and you waste your breath.
My actions for who I am and what I am represents Christ in my body and where ever I roam on this earth, people are touched by who I am not what I am.
People that meet me in in perosn in their life are touched by God because the spirit visited me and my calling has been told.
Read mypage on 360 the story "The Fog"...that is a true occurence in my life unexplained until I realized why God visited me. I've been called to do ythe work of Christ, but not as a preacher. I don't do miracles or make the blind see or the deaf hear and sick made well.
It is what I say to you that heals you.
