the reason i ask this is becuase i feel a lot of hate from "americans" towards immigration, than any other thing. most of us come here for a better life, but yes there are those who we really need to eliminate, like rapists, as for bush, he dont need to be convicted to be a criminal, steping on us his goverment, is crime enough

when i mentioned the other issues that we need to get rid of, i did not pin point illegals or not. criminals are criminals no matter what race they are. i would like to see more action, towards a rapist than an illegal person

Bebita, I don't care what they tell you, the bottom line is racism, pure and simple. They will tell you it's the "legal" issue and not racism, but you have to ask yourself: why would someone get SO worked up and froth at the mouth over people coming to a country to earn money and make a better life for themselves? Do these people (anti "illegals") have jobs? I'm assuming they do. They have computers to write to YA. Do they have homes? I'm assuming they do.
So, why are they all worked up about other people trying to better themselves? It doesn't make sense! It doesn't make sense until you realize that it is xenophobia and racism.
This is an old strain in American culture: Know-Nothing party, immigration prejudice against Italians and Irish, KKK, etc.
LOL! You are right, real crime is rampant (of course they trot out bogus statistics to blame it on illegals!), but they are all worked up over "illegal immigration"!

I do not hate LEGAL "immigration." I hate the fact that there are so many illegal alien criminals INVADING our country, demanding services they have no right to and sponging off the US taxpayer.
When an illegal alien sneaks across the border they are a CRIMINAL since they are breaking the law. They are on the same level as rapists, kidnappers, those that commit fraud, do drugs, "ans the list goes on...." Bush, while stupid and doesn't care what people want, isn't a criminal. Illegal aliens are.
Aren't you a bit racist for saying that "gringos" are upset and "fired up" about immigration? Don't you read the comments here. People complain about the ILLEGAL ALIENS. What part of ILLEGAL don't you get.

STOP being so narrow minded. Ask yourself this question. How many illegal immigrants are rapists, real criminals, like Clinton, serial killers, kidnappers, fraud, animal cruelty, drugs, and the list goes on. Bottom line is this if you are a law abiding immigrant and you just want to come to America to work and make a better life for yourself than fine. Do the damn paperwork and come and work in America, but we don't want no damn illegal immigrants in our country. That is why they are called illegal. Oh and by the way its not just the gringos that don't want the illegals here.

NOT MORE JUST ALSO...You are an immigrant and so are more sensitive to statements which you feel might be about you or someone you care about. And some of the other issues are involved in their anger about ILLEGAL immigration, since many of the illegals are swarms of men who committ mulitple crimes while here.
People can be concerned about multiple issues. What exactly do you think people discussing political issues are suppose to do about all those things you mentioned?
And the police. If you witnessed something, would you even file a report? Come on. You're not talking superman here. You're talking ordinary people with multiple concerns.
I'm concerned with your legal status and whether you are exericizing or abusing our freedom of speech by insulting Americans with gross exagerations.
I'm also and way more concerned about rapists than whether or not you jumped the fence or came through the gate. What can I do or say about that?

Have you taken some kind of survey from which you concluded this? Or are you simply making an ignorant statement based on a few incidences in your own life?
Most law obiding citizens are against anything illegal. The fact that some immigrants are illegal doesn't mean we're against ALL immigrants. My mother came to the US from Sweden, legally. I certainly wouldn't want her to be forced out of the country. My wife isn't from the US and I certainly wouldn't want her to be deported either.
The real problem in this country, and you are a testament to this, is that people aren't taking advantage of our countries greatest gift to its citizens: the worlds best University system. Get an education, travel a little, and stop being ignorant.

Why is it always about the Gringo?
If they want a better life they should apply for "Legal Status" and wait in line like all the LAW abiding people, and not enter our country "ILLEGALLY". There is a "LEGAL" way and an "ILLEGAL" way .
You mention "Fraud". What do you think, forging documents, and stealing peoples SS# is, well it is FRAUD.
As far as the U.S. citizens that are criminals, our country deals with them, we put them in prison.
Now what do you think we should do with every person who commits a crime by "ILLEGALLY" crossing our borders, stealinng SS#, and forging documents. Shouldn't they go to prison, like the U.S. criminals?

First of all, don't call me gringo. I didn't judge you and don't know you. You have no right to call me a gringo. So far you seem narrow minded and short sighted. All off of one sentence.
ILLEGAL immigrants are the individuals that are taking jobs from TAX PAYING citizens AND legal immigrants. Illegal immigrants come to the US expecting a free ride. Our system gets abused and taken advantage of. Do you think that illegal immigrants drive cars with current insurance policies? More than likely not. So, what happens if a legal citizen gets in an accident with an illegal immigrant? WHO'S insurance has to pay for the damage? This is just one example. I don't know about you, but I don't want my rates to go up because of a person in this country illegally.
If you want some illegal immigrants to shack up with you and you pay ALL of their expenses, then post your information. If not, then stop and realize who pays for these people to be here. I'll give you a clue. It's not them, they don't pay taxes.

I don't think you can assume that all Caucasians are more "fired up" about "getting rid of immigrants" than other criminals. Many other non-Caucasian people are also concerned about stopping illegal immigration. Gringo is a racist term and really serves only to alienate other people.

Every country is 'stuck' with its own criminals. That doesn't mean they should import more. Legal immigrants aren't an issue. Illegal immigrants are.
Besides of that list, only illegals and drugs are ruining our schools, and there is a considerable tie between the two topics.
Well, and Bush, but he is on the way out, and most of the reason he is ruining them is his laxity on enforcing immigration law.

Atleast they are legal to be here. I group illegal immigrants in the groups you mentioned except Bush is not a criminal, he has been convicted of no crime.

Getting rid of illegals is getting rid of real criminals. Some not all are rapists, serial killers(the railroad killer), fraud(stolenSS#). drugs and the list goes on. They are criminals because of sneaking into the country and not doing it the legal way. Legal immigrants are welcome.
