First let me say what I'm not for ... I am not for the be-headers or Saddam or any Islamic extremism . what dismays me the most is all the killing that has gone on , from the shock and awe which may have killed tens of thousands innocent people. To the loss of our soldiers and all the killing that has gone on in the aftermath. No I don't blame GWB or the U.S. for the acts done by the extremist , but the chaos was created by the decisions made by our decider .In hindsight I believe that if we had put the energy and money in helping make Afghanistan a model democracy or just even built hospitals, schools, roads and other infrastructure and helped keep a lid on the Taliban , the rest of the(sane) Islamic world would have said wow look what the Americans can do . Maybe I'm just dreaming.

I am not necessarily against the war as much as the game plan for how we are going to stop the violence. At some point the country will have to govern itself, and it does not seem like that is in the near future. Also the lengths and amounts of deployments I believe is to high. It seems to me like we are not resting our soldiers enough. However I do think that the Iraqi people for the most part appreciate us "liberating" them, I wonder if they feel the amount of civilian casualties was worth it. It just seems to me like Bush and his team of advisers needs to come up with something that gets us better results. Congress also needs to start taking a more serious hand in this war as well.

I support our troops, and I want a clear and concise exit plan. It is time we start looking for a way to get all these troops home.

We sent UN inspectors into Iraq & they found nothing that would cause us any problems. Others in the government felt them to be a threat. Then along comes 9/11 & even though not one person from Iraq was involved; our president decided we had to attack them because it was somehow their fault! So here we are; almost 4 yrs later, no end in sight, still talking as though they are somehow at fault. We have ruined the country; brought about civil war & don't know how to get out! One suggestion, divide the country into 3 nations, Kurds, Sunni & Shiite. Then leave.

Because the whole war started on a misconception that there was "weapons of mass desctruction" well there ain't any.. and we are still there 4 years later. Now a new mission is at hand. The president will make up whatever he can to continue the war for whatever personal reasons he sees fit. It's not fair Bec.. Thousands are dying now and there is NO ONE who is willing to stand up and stop it. Doing this bullshit isn't going to stop the terrorists. They probably know where Osama Bin Laden is anyway,. and theya re probably protecting him, thats how sick the government is. They protecting the sick family and help them flee after their spawn killed 3500 or so of Our MEN AND WOMEN! Whatever. It's just a sick situation. Someone needs to stop this sickness. If these Iraqis want peace and all that **** they should just get their act together and do it themselves. We have now given them the training and the tools, and killed their leader. So now what? Are we going to kill all the other leaders in the world who we don't agree with as well?? Oh ok, so these leaders like Saddam killed their people and were corrupt. Wait...Sounds like America too...Hmmmm

If it had not digressed into a civil war between Sunnis and Shia's it would be a different story....Other than that I will not ever Forget 9/11..it was a sneak attack similar to Pearl Harbor. We had every right to Strike back, hard and fast! No Real American Will Forget it! Sipport the Troops that are still there! It makes America look real weak with this politically correct jargon from people who have never served their country and want to speak from a civilian mamby pamby perspective! Hippies!

I'm against it because Bush is putting people out there to fight for money, its not for the US, I think he needs to leave the Iraqi's alone and if he wants to keep on sending people over there to fight he should send himself and his family so he can find out for himself what it is like to have to let go a family member without knowing if they will be coming back, having to leave their families here to suffer and Bush keeps making them promises like "if you go to war you will become a US citizen when you come back", but there are so many people going out there to accomplish their dream of becoming a US citizen but they die at war.
I'm against it and im only 17 years old, ask veterans and they won't be able to tell you what happened at war because they will start crying it's a horrible thing.
