she just moved to san francisco where i live.. she use to be very skinny..but now she gained alot of weight..shes like a different person..
ever since she been here all she does is EAT..she says it's because san francisco has great food and she wants to try everything..YESTERDAY alone she ate 6 big meals!! her favorite is a super burrito with extra sour cream, and # 1 at mc donalds which is a big mac and she will order bacon with it and thats super size..

I love her either way it's just it bugs me that she complains of being so fat and how much she hates skinny girls..when all she does is EAT..she doesnt excercise..usually sleeping or watching tv..
and when i told her why doesnt she just excercise instead of complaining and i am worried about her health..
but she just gets mad and says some big black girl named monique says its okay to be ..and continue eating and complaining about skinny woman..what can i DO to make her realize it's more important to be healthy?

First off,why does it matter that Monique is black? :) We got the point with out race being an issue, sweet heart.

However, why don't you guys sign up fro a dance class? If that doesn't work I woud show hers pics of people with excessive weight and explain to her thats where she is headed.Even "Monique" must work out and watch what she eats to a certain extent because although she's big,she stays the same size and thats her trademark.

She has to wanna do it for herself. Just support her as much as you can, and let her know what she's doing is hazardous to her health. You can refer her to some health sites such as http://www.sparkpeople.com for info on how she can become a healthier person. Or if you think money would be a motivator for her, she can sign up on this site and participate in the "Slim Body Challenge", and actually win cash for losing weight... http://www.slimbodycoach.com/ Even if she's not interested in taking part in the challenge....she can sign up for free on the site for all sorts of valuable information pertaining to eating right and working out. And why do you talk about Mo'Nique in that manner? "big black girl" That's not cool! Maybe she is her role model? She's a big beautiful Strong Black Woman! She's very talented, and absolutely LOVES her size. Check her out! http://www.1monique.com/mainv3.html

Stay on her, she's gonna come around. Don't stop about the fat, her being lazy, and just rag the hell out of her, telling her the only reason people agree with dangerous over-weight is because; misery LOVES company!!!!~!!!
