alright, me and my gf are fighting, but i'm confused. she doesn't let me do what i want to do, play video games, have friends (she chooses friends i can/can't have), smoke pot..she basically tells me how she wants it and thats that. how can we work things out?

i know i shouldn't smoke, but i like to get high, she doesn't make any agreements or 'sacrifices' she just wants it her way... i love her very much and i want it to work out, but i don't want to give up everything for her, ya know...?

If you really love this girl, which I think you do, or you wouldn't be trying to resolve things. Well, you need to sit down and have a mature talk with her. Start off by saying that you really care about her....letting her know whatever your feelings may be. Then make sure you let her know that you have accepted her for who she is, and that you are not trying to change things about her. There for you feel that she should accept you for who you are.
She can't try and change everything about you, trying to mold you into the boyfriend she wants. Too many girls tend to think that is okay.
But don't forget that a relationship is about compromise. Make sure to do those little extra things that make her feel needed and special to you! If that means putting down that PlayStation controller, and spending time doing something that she wants to do, then do it. :)
You will get it all back in return, in some way. Good luck!

If a person can't accept you the way you are then you need to find someone else that likes to do the same things you do. Nobody can change a person and if they can't live with you for who you are you are just wasting your time unless you are willing to give up those things for her.

I don't think she's the right one for you but not smoking pot is a good idea.
