I got married on a beach ata sunset in Sept. we are lucky enough to have severas where i live (B.C) . come here and have it. Depends on where you live, not alot of details given.

Where is your location? (USA: East or West Coast; for example).
I was going to have mine around Ventura, San Luis, Catalina, OC or Laguna area's but I found the regulations of guest, expense and planning was too difficult.
My mom got back from Hawaii in May of last year and she told us how beautiful it is over there. My fiance and I went to Maui a week before christmas and we loved it so much, we are planning to do it on the Western part of Maui in Feb of 2008.
You got a little over a year to truly search, plan and see what you would like to do.
I recommend visiting the beaches and planners locally. Look into what you want in your wedding and is it accessable in your wedding.

A lot of the resorts in places like Hawaii & Caribbean offer wedding on the beach services. My nephew was married in Jamaica on the beach a few years ago, not sure which resort, I didn't get to go:(

The Florida Keys have a slew of hotels and properties that dedicate themselves to beach weddings. It is beautiful downthere. My wife and I were going to do it, but the logistics of bringing everyone down for it were a problem at the time. Good luck and congrats!

New England beaches are very nice in the summer because of the mild weather, which is good for everyone in a tux and gown- not too hot. Also, most of the beaches, in Maine especially, are very rocky and beautiful.

Florida!! on the gulf side~~~me & my husband got married on the beach, just make sure you call the county you reside in, so you make sure you need no permits or to follow any ordinances...beach weddings are causal and beautiful!!

Virginia Beach, Va and Mertel Beach, SC are very beautiful places. I have been to both for I lived in VA and have been to SC on vacation. I am picking one of these for my honeymoon this summer. Hope this helps you!

Have you thought about an all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean, Mexico (Sandals), Hawaii?
