After Jesus Christ ascended to heaven,

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to ALL THAT are afar off, even as MANY AS THE LORD OUR GOD SHALL CALL.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, SAVE yourselves from this untoward generation.

Yes, when I was eight, just like everyone else in my church is. I was confirmed with the gift of the Holy Ghost then too, the same as is done to everyone else in my church. Yes, I have repented, many times. I don't believe that repenting once and saying you believe in Christ is going to save you. You have to keep being repentant and turning away from things that are wrong for it to work. Faith without works is dead. In other words, even if you have faith in Jesus and believe in Him, you still have to show you do by what you do in this life. There you go. Is that enough preaching for you??

Yes I have, but I don't believe that means that the words, "in the name of Jesus Christ" have to be spoken over a person at baptism for them to receive forgiveness.

Sure, I have repented. Not in the name of Jesus Christ. The stories of Jesus may be true, they may not be. How would I know? How could I possible know that?
I know that the sun rises and the sun sets, the moon revolves around the Earth, and that 2+2=4. I know these things not because of what a book told me, but because they can be observed.
Also, the Bible speaks of Satan and how witty he is, how do you know that Jesus wasn't really Satan in disguise?

People have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit before being water baptized also. The Holy Spirit is the seal given to all who confess Jesus Christ their Lord (to God), and have heart faith in His Resurrection.

Jesus shed His own blood for the remission of our sins. The water baptism represents this. The old man dies, our sins are washed away by His redeeming blood and the new man in Christ is alive foreveremore.

I guess to answer the question. As a Child I asked Jesus in my heart, as a teenager I was water baptized in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. That my sins are covered, past, present & future. I fell away. When I prayed after 10 yrs, had a 1 yr breakdown. There God brought me to River of Life Fellowship in Kent WA. God healed me & I recommitted to God. I was overfilled with the Holy Spirit. And that was the biggest victory over the breakdown.

So, I also didn't do things in the order in your question. I believe I was born of God when I asked Jesus into my Heart as a child. An old song, "Into my Heart, Into my Heart, Come into my heart Lord Jesus. Come in today, Come in to stay. Come into my heart Lord Jesus.".

Your grammar is lacking, its have you repented and were you baptized in the name of Jesus christ? PS its still an insult that you use the star of David on your avatar, I know some real Jews that would take offense to that.

PS the christian religion is for losers that cant make it in the real world.

Yes, I have but I don't believe that you have to be baptized to go to heaven. It is a symbol of faith and that you have been washed in the blood of the lamb

Yes, as an adult, and about seventeen years later I became an atheist.

I was utterly sincere at the time, though. No doubt about that.

Do you know you're being an asshole in trying to shove your religion down everyone elses throat? Do you think GOD would appreciate you trying to convert people without their consent? I think not. Get off your self-inflicted cross and just BE. It's not up to YOU to save someone else. Don't be so condescending, not everyone shares the same beliefs as you and you should RESPECT that.
