I don't expect much of a reply now, because it is long, but if you take time to scan it, let me know what you think.

Read throught the article and with knocking knees, finished it. I know our government has been inept for some time but the gory details that are on going truths about the illegal immigration and drug and gang problems only makes me feel worse.

The stupidity of American's who overlook this huge threat will ultimately be the deaths of many Americans. It may well be that we enter a period of huge drug/gang war interactions shortly here in the USA.
So much to lose and know one seems to being doing anything about it. What in the world is happening?

Illegal immigrants look kind compared to these characters. But many are not kind and even more are here in the USA to do what they have to to survive, make some $$$$$ and have their way with us.
People need realize that a line needs to be drawn in the sand and the US needs to hold up it's end. To fail in this will end our world or at the least invasiveness, create huge distortions and unpleasantry in our country.
Terrorism is everywhere in the world and we need to see this for what it is. Terrorism on our Southern border, fostered by a corrupt Mexican govenment that shows little ability or desire to make things better for those of us in the US. Much must change before this problem is solved or put under control.
Great post!

You have to wonder why the national media isn't focusing on this.... my friend is an ICE supervisor - she says for every law Americans are told about that will increase security there are 4 we aren't told about that will tie the agents hands..... the way our government is treating border patrol agents I'm not sure I wouldn't look the other way....

Another thing that bothers me is with 300 million people in the US why did our illustrious president only receive a quarter million letters to pardon them....should have been at least 3 million....you would hope at least 1% of the population would care about our country!

I hadn't seen it, but a lot of these things i already knew about. Since i live in Arizona, THE worst state for illegals crossing into the U.S., i have learned a LOT of this just by listening to the news and talking to people i know who work for ICE and the BP!!!!
People back east would be SHOCKED if they only knew HALF of the things that go in in this country!!!!!

I think most of us who reside and/or have resided in border cities know about the drug cartels and human smuggling rings because they always make the local news. It was good to read that Texas has done a good job of reducing the illegal activity taking place. Thanks for sharing the report. It was an interesting read.
