Keep a warm compress or a heating pad on the side where the tooth hurts. Go to the drugstore and get a toothache remedy Take two Tylenol. brush your teeth to remove anything stuck in the tooth then Gargle with mouth wash and swish it around the tooth before using the tooth ache remedy. A combination of these five things are about all you can do until you can get a dental appointment.
Feel Better ! Tooth aches suck.

Their is none. 1 bad tooth Leeds too more i lost 9 because i was terrified of the dentist not to mention a small fortune. Now i go for regular checkups and have no problems.Honestly its not as sore as tooth ache and it only lasts a few days at a fraction of the pain then it goes away for good, so GET IT OUT.

Oil of cloves has worked well for me in the past along with a good pain killer. At the end of the day you will need to see a dentist, sooner rather than later. Be brave & make an appointment. Hope the oil of cloves work for you. Wish you well

Oil of Cloves...just until you can get to your dentist. You can buy it at your local drugstore. We have a best friend that is a dentist. My husband got a dry socket and he said that it was the best for teeth trouble. My husband would dab a q-tip into it and apply. All better in a couple of days!!! Good luck...toothaches are the worst.

Whatever you do DO NOT put an aspirin or paste made from aspirin on the affected area!! Aspirin is made from acetosalicylic acid - yes, ACID and you are more likely to burn the soft tissue in the area. This will only add to your pain and suffering. Always follow directions on the label when using any medicine - they are there for a reason.

Ibuprofen 200mg every 4-6 hrs until you can get into the dentist on Monday. Call and leave a message on their answering service (if they have one) and they will call you first thing Monday to take care of you. If you are allergic to Ibuprofen, take Tylenol. Good Luck!

Ultimately it depends what's causing the problem, but for a quick fix you couldn't go far wrong with a bottle of Jack D and a responsible friend with a pair of pliers.
