Can anyone explain if what they actually say of for 1 fee per year you can call US, Canada with microphone on the computor, call anyone even if they don't have a computor--what is the catch??

It's true. No catch. You can call anywhere in US and Canada for CAD $17 per year to ordinary phones, its unlimited.

To call other countries it's really cheap, a few cents a minute.

You can call for free from computer to computer.

It's a simple program, where you can type or speak and if you have a webcam you can see the person you're talking to.

The catch is you need a computer and the other person you're contacting needs a computer. Dial up doesn't work - you need to be subscribed to a high speed internet provider which is around 24-50 dollars a month, in addition, you need to pay Skype a monthly fee of 14.95.

skype is the best thing ever! one can meet decent people everywhere and speak to them! just love it!!!!! the world seems so small with skype.... try it please and make some friends in the best locations overseas!!!
