Norway, Sweden or Denmark. Scandinavia is a fabulous place to visit. The food, sights and people are fantastic. If I had to narrow it down, it would be Norway. If you do not have a passport, get one. There are amazing places to see outside the US.

Because we are under about a half a foot of ice and getting snow at the moment, I have to say that I would take off for The Carribbean--Cayman Islands or St. Thomas. I love the ocean, and the beach and could use the warmth of the sun and the peaceful "shush" of the lapping waves right now.

I'd head for the nearest bus/train station to learn what it takes to vacate . I would then chose a destination that would give you immediate shelter with food and lodging-(safe). Then, when rested, I'd strike out into that community to find work within my interests. Having found a job; I would then strongly protaganize my co-workers with needs for basic(safe) haven .Trust must be met at every circumstance. Rely upon your every instinct to safely guide you. Notice must carefully be addressed when EGO exceeds hospitallity.

I'll answer as if it was "whenever".
I would go to a time when my mother was alive and healthy so I can get to know her as a woman rather than as my mother. I would ask her about her life and her opinions and this time, really really listen.
Oh, I'd love to go to Paris.
