you should just explain it to her as soon as she gets home
if you lie or try to cover it up then she'll be super mad when she finds out and she probably will because the fix is patching and painting not super expensive but you have to patch it first with drywall patch stuff then let that completely dry then paint to match
maybe offer to paint the whole room as a peace offering
plus if u do it together it could be really fun
if it really was an accedent then the best thing to do is tell the truth and offer to help fix it.

I am a mom. And my daughter got up in the middle of the night to get some cold water from her bathroom sink and decided to let it run awhile to get cold. She also decided she would just lay down for a minute. Well since her bedroom is upstairs, the natural law of gravity dictates that overflow will run downstairs. Onto the floors, into the ceilings and down the walls and onto to dining room table and wherever else. Two hours later she wakes up and forgetting about the water, decides to go downstairs to the fridge in the kitchen. She hears rain and then comes into my bedroom to tell me that its raining inside the house. When I went to look, it look like I lived inside a waterfall. I should have been hysterical and furious. I simply told her it would be alright. She was so relieved. I later found out, that she had went to GOD and prayed that I wouldn't be mad. And miraculously I wasn't.

She will appreciate it a whole lot more if you did the mature thing and you're honest with her. If you try to hide it, that's worth punishing you for. Just be up front and apologize about it. A dent in the wall can be repaired - it's not the end of the world. You're human! Anyone could have done that, and I think your mom probably knows that.

If its just a little mark... couldnt you get putty or something like that and fill it in? I'd recomend telling your mom but offer to fix it. Maybe even fix it then tell her about it afterwards. You can pick up some wall putty and sandpaper to even it out. If its a different color maybe you have some left over paint?

Or... you could rearrange the furniture so something is covering it. lol or hang a picture over the top of it.

Tell your Mom the truth I accidentally dented the wall.
I used to get more mad when my son would cover it up and lie about it My DIL did it 3 years ago then tried to lie about it My son told my DILsaid fess up honey, Or mom will be pissed forever.
as long as its not a huge gash this is easly fixed with a little putty and paint.and a tiny sand paper.

Hey...acci-"dents" happen. Depending on the nature and severity of the dent, repair can be a simple thing to do.

Depends on how big the dent is, real small i hear toothpaste works. but depends on the color of wall and size of the dent. if big you wont be able to hide it without doing some work

it can be easily patched with drywall compound... but then you will have to sand it ,prime it, paint the whole wall ?? i think you may as well confess,, afterall it was an accident !!!! good luck. honesty is allways the best policy !!!
