I see in the churches today many of the selfrighteous zealots casting their eyes down at young woman who have ilegitamate children, yet they talk against abortion. This has to stop ! Let me make myself clear,In no way do I support abortion. But in no way do I support these selfrighteous zealots. They are one of the root cause's of many young unmarried woman getting abortions today. The church needs to start openning it's doors to sinners.SO THEY CAN BE HEALED!!I am not suggesting that it support sinners but that they start loving sinners. The worst kind of sin is selfrighteous sin.Now my question: What can be done to stop this spirit of selfrighteousness ?

MOre and more churches need to have preachers that are willing to speak of everyone's sins. It is a terrible thing to hear again and again but "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD." Paul was very clear in his writing when he penned this. I hope that each and every Christian out there is able to realize that we all have sinned and continue to do so. It does not mean that we should sin purposefully but that we do at times sin and need to remember that when we see others have done so. GOD loves each and every one of us equally! Thank you for this writitng. It is definitely needed today and will be for quite some time. Have a great week.

I suppose the reason for that attitude is that there are few, very few, reasons for unwanted pregnancies today and it is a waste of human life to use abortion as birth control. What with birth control and sex education available, most abortions would never happen in the first place if a woman used her brain and didn't get pregnant.

As for the children born, yes the church should be more tolerant and welcoming. The mother and her children need all the emotional support they can get.

Churches are made up of sinners. Even the Bible is made up of sinners, the only sinless person we know of is Jesus. God gives us many examples of sinners, who he still chose and loved. David was not perfect, yet the Lord saw something in him.

Any church, who shuns sinners, instead of helping them to see the error of their ways is wrong. However, there are those who sin, who can't expect to get a pat on their backs either. If you are sorry for what you've done, you should show so.

We should not support sinning, but casting out sinners is a wrong turn. Who will help them then?

We are all sinners, and as such, can not throw the first stone.

God bless you.

a million. no person is ever justified in taking yet another man or woman's existence, no matter what reason they use as a crutch. between the tries grow to be made on an abortion physician in my city...he wasn't killed, yet no, it extremely is incorrect no matter what. 2. it extremely is not for them to decide...the Bible they stay by skill of says 'decide no longer lest ye be judged'. 3. i in my opinion have self assurance that particular, abortion could desire to be allowed in severe situations, like interior the example of rape or incest, if the sufferer chooses. 4. particular, i've got self assurance that if the being pregnant would be deadly for the mum, it extremely is going to be allowable then. those are concerning the only situations I see abortion as a achievable decision. i think of the rampant use of abortion as a skill of delivery administration at present is truly abhorrent. people who've intercourse consentually could desire to understand the obtainable outcomes whilst they're having it, and be arranged to handle those outcomes. it extremely is merely my opinion...if everyone disagrees, it extremely is high quality with me. that's merely how i've got self assurance approximately it in my opinion. i'm no longer a Christian, by skill of ways.

By adopting a spirit of Christ righteousness ie a righteousness not our own but one given us by the grace of God. Ask yourself then what would Jesus say / do about this issue if He were alive and here today. Then realise if you would that He is alive and here today and that He does have a voice on this issue. His voice speaks out for the life He had a perfect plan for. There are no unwanted births in His eyes.

I agree it is not our job to judge sinners, just to love them.

Pray that God change them from their wicked will to his perfect will. There are many "christians" that support abortion. God has a plan. He, in Revelation says that he will kill them, in the letter to the Laodiceans. That is the church he writes this letter to. God is killing the people in the church for their fornication with the Jezebel spirit that deceived the prophets of old and killed them. The church is still allowing that Jezebel to teach in the church. Pray for God's children to be blessed and have the mercy and grace of God fall on us all. That is a start.

Self righteousness has been a problem since day 1. Those Jesus opposed and even lashed out on where the self righteous. I think if we all stop beating on the unrighteous and start lashing out on the SELF righteous, we will all be better off.
