Hey, whenever i start up my computer, a "setup" popup comes up then right after that it says "Setup encountered an error during installation. Error Code 00D." I have no idea what it is trying to install but please tell me how ot get rid of it. Its getting tiresome.

click start then run. In the run box type MSCONFIG. go to the startup tab and see if there is anything in the stratup that looks like the error, if so uncheck the box and hit ok then reboot.

I dont know if this will help but click start and then type in msconfig and click run, go through it and turn off anything you dont want or recongize. try a reboot and see if it helps, you'll get a warning but accept it and see if it helps. you can always go back into msconfig and turn the programs back on if you closed something you need so dont be afraid to click your buttons. good luck, things like that drive me crazy too so I feel your pain.

Sounds like it might be spy ware or ad ware. Down load Ad-Aware and run it. It's free and might take care of the problem.
