If the lump is directly under the tear, it's probably scar tissue. If you didn't take your cat to the vet after this incident and allowed the wound to heal by itself, it will likely have more scar tissue than if the wound was stitched. Scar tissue will feel hard, and will follow the wound line.
Just keep in mind that if your cat didn't receive antibiotics from a vet, he could have an infection at the wound site.

Look for the hamster.
It's probably scar tissue, shouldn't cause a problem. it might also be a cyst as cats heal from th inside out (opposite of dogs)

it could be scar tissue, or something left inside him like a cotton ball or an item that you used to clean the wound. i say that you should take him to the vet and ask for an x-ray of his belly you should find out what is inside him.

It could be an area of infection, is it warm to to the touch does you cat allow you to palpate the area.
I think a trip to the vet will put your mind and rest and would be the best advice to take.

It could be anything but if you really are cocerned about him you would take him to the vet and have a xray done to see if it needs to be removed or drained or if it is nothing serious and will heal itself harmlessly or will pass through his system and come out in feces(poop).

It's probably just scar tissue. However, there might be a possibility of your cat being pregnant?

I'm guessing that it might be an infection that needs to be drained, and in the stomach area do it immediately before it drains internally.
