As a Canadian, I have found in my visits to Europe and the US that when it comes to tourist visits, the best places are:
1. USA
2. Europe
3. Canada
But when it comes to working and raising a family, the best places are:
1. Canada
2. Europe
3. USA

I would choose the United States of America. It is the greatest nation on earth and I love living in America. Besides, it is very costly to live in Europe but they do have better public transportation that where I live in the US.

They are immigrating to Europe in large numbers, too, but because our media is so bad about covering international events, we don't hear about that. Europe has it advantages, such as better public transportation, a bigger safety net, and generally less crime. Unfortunately, nobody in Europe wants to hire my lame a**, so I will stay at my job here :)

Europe should be better, I imagine. Here people think they have freedom while they are so brainwashed that their opinions are not theirs, and they think they are so fortunate to have more of the terrible junk the global capitalism is feeding us. Boo!

While I have always loved Europe's history, I find it's socialism and multiculturalist suicidal beliefs and increasing lack of freedom to be cancerous.
It's the US. Where you can still be free to think and say what you please.
