BTW, I have tried using the control panel accessed by 192.168.1.1 and
have put ports 3646-3648 blocked and www.limewire.com
but I can still access limewire.com is therte anyway to block limewire?
the model of my router is wrt54g
Thanks

use windows firewall to block the program. you may have to change some settings so it doesnt display a message that it is being blocked, otherwise it is too easy to unblock it again.

You can set the bandwidth within Limewire.

On the top bar in Limewire - Tools, Options, Uploads, Basic

The same for downloads - Tools, Options, Downloads,

Adjust the slider anywhere you want it to control bandwidth.

go to options and set the bandwith the lowest it goes so that they don't dl as fast and only allow 1 download at a time to make it even slower for them
