i have the same problem, and i got 3 kids. It dosent seem to get better. Maybe sittin your mom down and explaining to her, that by her lettin your child do certain things you wouldnt let him/her, she is making it 100 times harder for you.
You child is still young, so dont worry to much, my son (4yr old) he understand that he can get away with things with my mom, but not with me..give it some time.

If your parents are spoiling your 2 year old, they are already spoile you earlier. So they are not spoiling your child. Children are simple and innocent. So they will familiar with children and old very soon.
The rules are cutting the freedom of the children and makes them cunning and crucked. Let him urinate in your kitchen some more time. let him through the plates when he feels angry or hungry. He will study the rules automatically when he feels the other is wrong .observe and guide him.

Well lay the law flat out ( Talk to your parents ) And if they keep it up tell them that you have rules and at your house they respect those like you respected your parents.

Ask your mother very kindly to please follow the rules that you have set for your child.
Just explain to your mother that she is confusing your child if she says that some it okay to do and you tell your child not to do it.
I feel that you are the parent and should raise your child in a loving, Godly manner. Parent should have the final say.

Let her...it's not going to change, because if it were as simple as telling mom to chill out, you wouldn't be asking our advice. :) Nothing meant by that...just the reality of the fact that grandparents spoil kids rotten because they don't have to raise them. It's fun.
